During my 17 years as Mayor and 22 years on the Niagara Falls City Council, I believe I have made a major positive contribution to our community. My challenge has always been to create a positive business atmosphere, to control taxes, and provide services and recreational amenities to make Niagara Falls Ontario the best city in which to live in.

I have prided myself in my financial stewardship as a member of City Council. As Mayor, I promoted the “pay as you go” philosophy, which would maximize municipal services for our residents at an affordable cost. I continue to encourage the timely passing of the municipal budget, to ensure the City gets the best value when tendering major infrastructure projects. You can be assured that as your City Councillor, I will continue to promote a fiscally prudent approach to expenditures, while encouraging new revenue sources.

I have maintained a reputation over the last 39 years of being hardworking, showing fiscal restraint, available and approachable to all residents, and supportive of progressive development and job creation.

With my experience and previous track record I want to provide the fiscal restraint and common sense decision making to put the city back on track.
